Blue Cohosh

Blue Cohosh is said to have excellent anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties. Preparations of this plant have been used primarily for a variety of gynecological and obstetric conditions. Early American settlers and Indians used it to prevent premature labor and miscarriage. It is believed to help menstrual ailments such as amenorrhoea and has also been used as an anti-spasmodic during labor.
