L-Valine

Valine is an amino acid that cannot be made by the human body, and therefore is classified as a dietary essential amino acid. It is one of the 20 different amino acids that act as the building blocks for proteins. L-valine is a branched chain amino acid that is used for energy production by muscle tissue. Valine is thought to be useful in treating liver damage and may reduce muscle wasting due to some diseases.
