DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is our body's key hormone. Our bodies naturally produce it in our adrenal glands. It is then metabolized into a number of other important hormones, including testosterone and estrogen.

DHEA production generally hits its peak at age 25 and then starts to gradually decline. At the age of about 30, the decrease in production can begin to be quite dramatic.
