In the 32-year history of VitaMist March has always been founder’s month! It’s hard to believe that he passed away 9 years ago last month, but the legacy he left behind will go on forever.
For those of you who had the privilege of knowing our founder, you will understand when I say he was one of those individuals who seemed to be bigger than life. This poem of Mother Teresa’s, that I believe I have shared with you before, rather sums up the way he felt and lived his life.
“Words To Live By’
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If your are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may just never be enough;
Give the world the best that you have anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it’s all between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
One of Joe’s favorite quotes was one of Mark Twain’s:
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
Let VitaMist help you reach your dreams and realize your ambitions.
