Dear VitaMist Family,

For many of us the New Year is a reason for a resolution to change something in our lives.  If you looked in health magazines, or the advertisements in the media or on the web, there are resolutions everywhere:  improve your image, lose weight, stop smoking, go to the gym, start a new hobby, learn a new language.

If we want to make any of these resolutions, we need to make them intelligently.

A very important factor is ‘why’ we decide to make that resolution. The ‘why’ determines the motivation; it is what will enable us to keep going even when the going gets tough. But ‘why’ also has to be inserted in the right frame in order to be effective.

If we make a resolution because everybody else does, or if we make a resolution because we have to, the chances are that we are not really motivated to keep it. And if we do not keep it, and maybe we are experiencing a moment of low self-esteem, the chances are that we beat ourselves up for that, and that will not do us any favors.

So, in order to make a sound resolution, it has to be first of all our choice, and it is also very important how and why we decide to make that choice. How about this year we put several of these resolutions into one group heading of Vitamist; for that improved image, to lose weight, to stop smoking, to help with that Gym workout.  There are several extra bonus with this resolution – better health – that extra income we all need for financial security – and, the most important of all, helping others…

So, let’s roll up our sleeves and start working

“May the dawning of this New Year, Open up for you new horizons, fill your heart with new hopes and bring for you Promises of brighter tomorrows! Here’s wishing you happiness and prosperity in the New Year!”
