Why You and your Children Need Nutritional Supplements for the Rest of Your Lives

If you think you may not need dietary supplements, read this. It could change your health for the rest of your life.

Finally, after more than 50 years, leading medical journals now recommend all adults take multivitamins. Both the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association have concluded that:

“Most people do not consume an optimal amount of all vitamins by diet alone.”

“Inadequate intake of several vitamins has been linked to chronic diseases, including coronary heart disease, cancer, and osteoporosis.”

“Suboptimal folic acid levels, along with suboptimal levels of vitamins B6 and B12, are a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, neural tube defects, and colon and breast cancer; low levels of vitamin D contribute to osteoporosis and bone fracture; and low levels of the antioxidant vitamins (vitamins A, E, and C) may increase the risk for several chronic diseases.”

“It appears prudent for all adults to take vitamin supplements.”

A large body of research has demonstrated that the nutrients found in dietary supplements reduce your risk of chronic disease, improve quality of life, and increase longevity.

Here are selections of reasons why you cannot depend on food alone for all of the nutrition you need to stay healthy.

Reason #1: The average American is overfed and undernourished. It’s no secret. Just look around you. Most people are gaining weight. Even kids are overweight these days. You or someone you know has a chronic disorder of some kind.

If you’re like most Americans, you’re consuming fabricated convenience foods high in calories but low in food value (nutrition). This type of diet leads to “subclinical” or marginal deficiencies that lead to vague health complaints such as nervousness, listlessness, recurring minor infections, general aches and pains, difficulty concentrating, irritability, depression, muscle weakness, fatigue, insomnia, and just not feeling right.

A large body of research has demonstrated that most Americans are not getting what they need from their diet. For example, in one recent U.S. Dept. of Agriculture survey of 20,000 people, not a single person was consuming adequate levels of all the vitamins and minerals. In this study, the percentages of Americans were found to be deficient as follows: 90% in vitamins. B6, 75% in magnesium, 68% in calcium, 57% in iron, 50% in vitamin A, 45% in vitamin B1, 41% in vitamin C, 34% in vitamin B2, 34% in vitamin B12…. and the list goes on.

There are hundreds of medical studies to suggest it’s a virtual certainty that you and every member of your family are deficient in one or more essential nutrients.

Reason #2: Soil depletion. Modern mass-production agriculture depletes nutrients from the soil without replenishing them. The application of synthetic fertilizers stimulates the growth of beautiful-looking plants. However, the nutrient content is missing.

So when you bite into that healthy salad or slice of whole-wheat bread, you’re getting less nutrition today than from the same foods grown in the same soil fifty years ago.

Reason #3: Commercial food processing. Much of the food you eat is processed in one way or another. When foods are prepared, they are exposed to heat, light, oxygen, or drastic change in temperature or humidity. This exposure destroys vital but fragile nutrients. Examples of processing include baking, extruding, milling, grinding, boiling, cooking, recombining, spray drying, etc.

Reason #4: Food storage and transportation. All foods deteriorate as they age. This is a problem for the food industry because many foods are shipped over great distances. Therefore chemicals are added to preserve foods and give them a longer “shelf life.” Unfortunately, in spite of these chemicals, the nutrient content of foods decline over time, even though they may look the same.

Even fresh fruits or vegetables may be sprayed, gassed or fumigated to make them look “ripe” and “fresh.” So what seems healthy isn’t necessarily as healthy as you may think.

Reason #5: Preparation and cooking of foods. Many people eat out or bring prepared food home from the market. Even if you make your meals at home, most of your food is cooked, not raw. Here’s the problem: the more you cook a portion of food, the less its nutrient value.

Of course, there are some foods, such as grains and dried legumes that you have to cook because they’re inedible when raw. You’re not going to eat a bowl of uncooked rice. However, if you overcook rice, you lose nutrients.

Reason #6: Home storage of food. Have you looked in your refrigerator lately? How long has that head of lettuce been in there? What about those leftovers from three days ago? Refrigeration does slow down the deterioration of food, but it certainly does not stop it. As every day goes by, whatever is in your refrigerator is losing its nutritional value.

Some people will eat something out of the refrigerator that is three weeks old, or something from the pantry that is a year old. By this time, some vital nutrients have been completely lost.

Reason #7: Food irradiation. Exposing foods to gamma rays, x-rays or other radiation extends their shelf life by the destruction of microorganisms, inhibition of sprouting, and delay of ripening. Some meats, chicken, and vegetables are irradiated. Foods served in restaurants or schools may be irradiated. The problem with irradiation is that vital nutrients, especially antioxidants and fat-soluble vitamins, are destroyed. There’s no label to tell you if food is irradiated.

Reason #8: Pesticides in foods. A pesticide is a poison. A little bit of pesticide will kill a bug. A lot of pesticides will kill you. Most foods contain pesticides. Even organic produce contains pesticides, although a lot less than regular produce. Pesticides may be applied to the soil, to the growing plant, or to the food while in storage or shipment.

Keep in mind that you can’t see, smell or taste these pesticides. So you have no way of knowing if what you’re eating contains pest poisons. But your body knows. Some pesticides can accumulate in the body and cause problems. Your body has to deal with the problem by expending valuable vitamins and minerals to detoxify and try to eliminate these poisons.

Reason #9: Genetically modified foods. Millions of acres of genetically modified corn, cotton, and potatoes have been planted in the U.S. (Cotton is mentioned here because cottonseed oil is found in many processed foods, and cottonseed meal is fed to cattle.) These foods, which are now in our food supply, have been engineered to produce a naturally occurring pesticide that is supposedly toxic only to insects. There are no long-term human studies to indicate that genetically modified foods are safe. However, rats fed genetically modified potatoes had increased intestinal infections, reduced immunity, and reduced weight of the intestine, pancreas, kidneys, liver, lungs, and brain. Since you may be unknowingly consuming genetically modified or irradiated foods, you would need dietary supplementation to offset the invisible but potentially harmful effects of such foods.

Reason #10: Environmental pollution. We dump nearly six billion pounds of chemicals into our environment every year. While some of it ends up in our food, much of it is in our air and water. If you breathe air and drink water, you are ingesting chemical pollution. Medical research has established that environmental chemicals contribute to degenerative diseases.

You have no choice but to eat food, drink water, and breathe air. Therefore, you will need dietary supplements to help you process and detoxify the pollution entering your body every day.

Reason #11: Bioaccumulation of pollution in animal foods. There are specific “persistent” pollutants that tend to accumulate in any living thing, whether animal or plant. The higher up the food chain, the higher the accumulation. Take swordfish for example. Swordfish is known to have high levels of mercury, a toxic metal.

The problem starts when small baitfishes eat organic material that contains mercury. They metabolize the organic material but retain the mercury. Small predatory fish then eat the baitfish, thus inheriting their accumulated mercury. The more bait fish they eat, the more mercury they accumulate. Finally, a swordfish comes along and eats a bunch of small predatory fish, and picks up a load of mercury. So a big swordfish can gather a lot of mercury over time. But the swordfish is not the end of the chain. You are! You eat the swordfish, and now all that accumulated mercury is stored in “your” body.

Swordfish is only one example out of hundreds. Here’s the point. You’re at the top of the entire food chain on earth. Therefore, you unknowingly accumulate heavy metals and chemical pollutants, which are proven to be detrimental to your health. If you consume animal foods, you need dietary supplements to help you handle the contaminants they contain.

Reason #12: “Energy” pollution. Energy pollution invisibly burdens your body. The form of energy pollution you’re familiar with is radioactive fallout, like that from nuclear testing in Nevada, which caused an increase in cancers downwind from the test site. Another, less well-known form of energy pollution is altered magnetic fields’ from electrical motors and circuits, and all kinds of energy transmissions (microwave, radar, cell phone, etc.). Not only can energy pollution destroy or damage cells directly, but also it causes a stress reaction in the body, which leads to hormonal imbalances. For example, energy pollution reduces your levels of melatonin, an essential hormone. Once again, dietary supplements are a method to assist your body to compensate for another type of pollution from which there is no escape.

Reason #13: Genetic weaknesses. Each of us is genetically and biochemically unique. But none of us is perfect. We all have some genetic defect. For example, you might have a genetic abnormality in methionine metabolism called homocystinuria (methionine is an amino acid required to make your body function). In this case, taking large doses of vitamin B6 is a way to compensate for this weakness. There are hundreds if not thousands of possible genetic abnormalities. We can minimize many of them with dietary supplementation.

Reason #14: Chronic Stress. “Stress” occurs when your body has a “fight or flight” response to any situation. Most of the time, you’re not aware of it. Stress can come from anywhere at any time. It could be a barking dog, a disagreeable boss, a car that needs repair, an unpaid bill, a relationship that isn’t working or living alone or Anything at all. You become so accustomed to stress that you consciously tune it out – but your body doesn’t.

When subjected to repeated stress, it is called chronic stress, which severely depletes your body of energy and vital reserves. Chronic stress produces hormones that have a long-term weakening effect on your body, which accelerates the aging process and leads to chronic degenerative disease. Supplements reduce the detrimental effects of chronic stress.

Reason #15: Your lifestyle. How you behave may increase your need for supplementation. For example, smoking or drinking alcohol to excess dramatically saps your reserves of vital nutrients. In both cases, dietary supplementation is not an option – it’s a requirement.

On the other hand, if you’re an avid mountain climber or high-performance athlete, you use up nutrients faster than the average person. The same is true if you work in a physically demanding occupation. Your performance improves with dietary supplementation.

Reason #16: GI problems. Any digestive or gastrointestinal problem will diminish your absorption of vitamins, minerals, protein, essential fats, and plant substances required to maintain a healthy body. Irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, Crohn’s disease, or chronic diarrhea hurt your ability to absorb nutrients. Ditto for bacterial, viral, yeast or parasitic infections. Food allergies are notorious for causing GI problems. In short, any inflammation in your GI tract means trouble. Therefore, you will need supplements to help you deal with the inflammation, as well as to increase the number of essential nutrients you are consuming and absorbing.

Reason #17: Weak digestion. Heartburn, bloat after eating, burping, or gas may suggest you have an impaired ability to digest your food. If you can’t digest your food, your body cannot absorb it, and supplementary digestive aids may be needed.

Reason #18: Getting older. Medical studies have proven that you lose your digestive power as you get older. By the time you’re “elderly,” you have a severe problem that can only be corrected by supplementation.

Also, studies have shown that many older adults eat less well than they did in earlier years. In this case, dietary supplements can augment an otherwise inadequate diet.

Reason #19: Teenagers. It’s no secret that adolescents eat and drink things that are very unhealthy, i.e., “junk food,” which is no way to nourish a maturing body. Most teenagers need dietary supplementation.

Reason #20: Chronic disease or disorder. It doesn’t matter what the disorder is. It could be arthritis, macular degeneration, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, eczema, PMS or anything else. Specific dietary supplements can help almost any disorder.

Reason #21: Medications. Americans consume an astounding quantity of prescription and over-the-counter medications. However, nothing in your body operates in isolated compartments – everything interacts with everything else in some way. Many drugs interact with supplements or cause an increased need for them. For example, women on birth control pills may have increased demand for vitamin B6. People on Glucophage need more calcium, B12, and folic acid. The list is endless. So if you’re on medication, consult with one of our physicians to determine the specific supplements you need.

Reason #22: Pregnancy. Your requirement for nutrients undergoes a significant shift when you become pregnant. It’s to your and your baby’s benefit to take supplementation to reduce your risk of a miscarriage or pregnancy complications and to have a healthier baby.

BOTTOM LINE: Because of global pollution and degradation in the quality of our food supply, it’s hard to imagine anyone who will not need nutritional supplements for the rest of his or her life. Also, many people have health problems, a lifestyle, or unique situations where supplements are advisable.

Holiday Traditions

Dear VitaMist Family,

On December 25th, we will be joining our family and love ones by sitting down for Christmas Dinner.  I know I am and I am sure we are all very, very grateful for what we have in our lives.  I think Christmas is my favorite holiday.  At no other point in the year are traditions more deeply rooted than on this special day.  Whether it is decorating the entire house, putting up Christmas lights, shopping for the people you love, preparing your classic Christmas meal, humming along to Christmas music, or occasionally belting out a few lyrics yourself.  The fact that we are doing this with the people we love is what makes Christmas mean so much to me.

Doing all of these things with family only makes this season more magical, and since all of you are part of my family, I want to share these joys with you.  I ask you to do me a favor and brighten up my holiday.  Share your Christmas traditions with the rest of the VitaMist family and me on Facebook.  Whether it is a story, a fond memory, photos of your decorations, or video of your lighting extravaganza.  I would love to see it all.  You can post your traditions directly to, or better yet, post it as your status, then click “share” and send it to us.  The latter will help spread the Christmas spirit not just to the VitaMist family, but also to all of your friends and family!

Then, in keeping with a timeless Christmas tradition, I will be giving out Christmas gifts.  Three family members who share their holiday traditions will be chosen to receive a free VitaMist product.  We will also feature your holiday traditions in the January issue of The VitaMist View.  Multiple entries aren’t just allowed; they’re encouraged!

Merry Christmas!   ●   Happy Holidays!   ●   And a Very Happy New Year!

What Does Holiday Mean?

H is for HOPE

This is the best time of year to be a “Hope promoter” and engage in conversations about the kind of incredible Hope that you now have for a great life, and how you are so thankful for your business. Hold conversations and create Hope in folks in the financial and Success parts of their life in 2017. Find out what they want and create Hope to obtain them with your company. “What would it mean to you to have the best year you ever had Financially in 2017?…I have an idea I would like to share with you…” Become a Hope promoter and change lives.

Get organized.  Get your old leads out and put a plan together to send them a card, or give them a call, or contact them next year. Get organized in your follow-ups, and your potential leads for 2017, and your vehicles for lead generation. Get a system for recording them, and start treating your business like a business. Get organized with a tracking system, and become accountable to it.

L is for LISTEN

Listen during the Holidays like you never have before.  Listen to people who are not satisfied or happy with their jobs, and to those who are complaining about a lack of money. Listen to your friends about their plans for 2017 and see how you can integrate your business with them. Listen to your downline and increase your leadership with them.  Motivate them with words of encouragement to recruit and develop a more powerful group. Listen to your heart, and hear what’s it’s trying to tell you.  You may not be working hard enough in your business, as 90% of networkers never do.

You MUST create an Increase in Focus, Mindset, and Heartset. You must move from a “lack” to an “increase” mentality in 2017; it will make you more magnetic when you are recruiting. You must focus on how you and your business can Increase other’s lives and futures, as well as your own. Then tell lots of people how to make that happen. You must create an “Environment of Increase” in your life and business, which will grow you and your skill set tremendously…

D is for DARE

Dare to go harder and recruit more next year than you ever have before. Dare to see further into the future with people and see Total Success for both them and you. Dare to step out of your Recruiting “Comfort Prison,” that you are in. Dare to engage in new tactics and strategies with the passion that they demand, and MASTER them. Dare to embrace the dreams of your prospect and show them how you can help them achieve these dreams. Dare to go beyond what you did this year, and make the Holidays a growth curve, not a slow curve!

Accelerate your recruiting strategy this season. Do more. Go more. Talk more. See more people. Accelerate your goals to where they need to be to create something extraordinary with your business. Accelerate your prospect’s dreams and desires by talking about 2017 with them and finding out where they want to be. Then show them how to accelerate their chances of obtaining them.

Y is for YES

Say YES to your success in recruiting and creating a massive group. Too many times we say NO because we are so used to limiting ourselves. Say YES to people who tell you NO. YES, you understand, YES, you will be successful, and YES their “NO” doesn’t bother you. Say YES to Exploding your business right out of the gate in 2017. Recruit with a fervor never seen before, and with that type of YES focus, it will be hard to tell you NO. Say YES to talking to more people during the holidays than you ever have, and say YES to collecting more NOs than you ever have. KILLER Secret: Whoever collects the most NOs… gets rich.

Forming Successful Business to Business Relationships

I hear a lot of the same questions over and over again.  Our distributors want to know who to sell to after they have talked to their friends and family.  They ask how to network, where to find new clients, and what shows they should attend.  One question I almost never hear is how to partner with other businesses, which is a shame because this is the question that you should be asking.  Our excellent distributors work long hours at shows, are diligent in helping and responding to the concerns of their downlines, and take the initiative to start and promote their own websites.  But our most successful distributors are the ones that partner with other businesses, and let those companies sell for them.

There are a few things that are essential when forming a business-to-business relationship.  First, both sides must be willing to take a chance.  For both sides to profit, both sides must risk.  Your prospective partner may be ready to take the risk by partnering with you to sell your products, but first, you must take the risk of approaching them.

Second, the partnership must start at the top. Forming a personal relationship with the senior members of companies you approach helps keep you in their minds, and makes sure that the relationship does not dissolve over time.

Third, real partnerships start with transparency. Be honest about what you are selling, and why you think it will benefit both parties.  Remember that they want to profit from the relationship just as much as you do!

Fourth, take the long view. Building relationships takes time.  Encourage your partner business to make a small purchase to test the waters.  There is no need to rush them.  Before you know it, you will see several business-to-business relationships blossoming at the same time, and everybody will reap the benefits!

Finally, put goals and expectations in writing. Though you want your business-to-business relationship to be friendly, it must also be professional.  Both sides will have expectations of the partnership, and by putting them in writing, nobody will be confused about what to expect or what is expected of them.

Stop working yourself to the bone!  Partnering with other businesses takes work off of your plate, and earns both you and them some extra income!

Discover the 4 Rules of Selling Any Product (as a Therapist)

In light of VitaMist’s recent award from the World Massage Festival, it’s a prime opportunity for VitaMist distributors to pitch to, and even recruit massage therapists into the VitaMist family.  But this does raise the question, “Is it ethical for massage therapists to sell products as part of their practice?”  Fortunately, the answer is a resounding, “Yes!”  You just need to follow a few simple rules.

To ensure ethical sales, a massage therapist or physical therapist should meet two criteria.

Rule Number 1: Transparency

Tell your patients and clients that you will be making a profit off the sale.  Without transparency, motives can be called into question, and your practice can suffer.  Being honest with your clientele is important.  By withholding information, you break the trust between you and those who you serve.  However, by being open and sincere, you would be surprised how many of your clients will make that purchase specifically because it also benefits you.  A good therapist – patient relationship is one where both parties benefit.

Rule Number 2:  Provide Options

Provide your patients with alternate locations where they can purchase same products.  This rule is similar to transparency.  You may make a few more sales by pitching a product as though you are their sole source.  Scarcity sells, after all.  However, in the process of selling products, you may lose clients.  A therapist is not a salesperson first, and their chief obligation should be to their practice.  It all comes back to the honesty we talked about in rule 1.  Don’t sacrifice relationships for the sake of sales.

Rule Number 3: Understand the Product

If you are going to sell products to supplement your practice, you will need to teach your clients what they do, and why they would be of benefit.  And before you can teach someone else, you must first understand the subject matter.  VitaMist has many informative materials available online, a network of nutritional consultants who can get you started, and a customer service team that would be thrilled to talk you through the specifics of our products, and what they do.  Studying the products you plan to sell is not just important to grow your business, it is also the right thing to do.  Advising a patient to take a product that not even you fully understand is no better than selling snake oil on a street corner, and could even be dangerous if you advise them to take the wrong products.

Rule Number 4: Believe in the Product!

This rule may be the most important one.  Selling a product that you do not believe in is disingenuous, and highly unethical.  If you sell products out of your practice, supplementing your income should be a positive side effect on top of promoting your patient’s health.  Profit is the icing on the cake, while the nutritional benefits are the cake itself.  Furthermore, selling products that you believe in will make it easier to sell them!  When you are truly exciting about what you are selling, that enthusiasm is noticeable, and it will spread to your patients and colleagues alike!

Selling outside products is an excellent way to keep your private practice afloat, and ease the burden of your bills.  But that doesn’t have to be all that there is to it.  It can be a way to promote better health in your patients, educate them on how nutrition affects their body and connect with them on a personal level.  All you need to do is to follow a few simple rules.

VitaMist Named Product of the Year!

I’m happy to say that VitaMist was named the 2016 Product of the Year by the massage therapy community!  Bill, our President, was invited to Atlantic City this past month to accept the award at the World Massage Festival, and to speak about the importance of complete health.  What do I mean by complete health?  Leading a long, happy and healthy life is more than just exercising or maintaining a proper diet.  Complete health is about paying attention to your nutrition, your physical activity, your mental health, stress levels and rehabilitation efforts.  It’s about your mind, body and spirit, combined. As a nutraceutical company, we tend to stress nutrition.  We promote the concept of “diet support,” the idea that changing your diet should not be painful, and it should be for life.  However, your physical, mental and spiritual health are all just as important as nutrition.

By naming us the Product of the Year, The World Massage Festival and Massage Therapy Hall of Fame have recognized all that we have done to benefit the health care community, but we are not done yet!  There is still so much more to learn, so many more people to teach, and so little time to waste.  Your health will not wait for you to get around to it.  This is a troubling belief that many people seem to share.  Your life is all that you have, and if you do not tackle your health issues, that unique and beautiful life of yours will slip through your fingers faster and faster with each unhealthy day you waste.

So it’s up to you, our wonderful family of VitaMist Nutritional Coaches, to get healthy, enjoy your lives, and spread the word of good health as far and wide as you can.  While you’re at it, take a moment to book yourself a massage.  And don’t let anybody tell you that being healthy can’t be enjoyable.

“We want to educate consumers who have been misinformed by malicious marketing campaigns for years.  There are healthy solutions to many of your health problems, and most of these solutions don’t have a price tag attached.”

-William Deihl

How You Can Find Your Independence With Vitamist

I’d like to discuss 10 of the key benefits, and how the VitaMist program is great business opportunity. Use these benefits to promote your VitaMist business and to recruit anyone in your organization.

  1. Low Risk: There is a certain amount of inherent risk involved when you become an entrepreneur.

We are confronted with losing money, wasting time, not profiting right away, and more. In a traditional brick and mortal business, the startup cost associated with opening that business is what holds many people back from becoming the creators of their own destiny.

People do not like risk and try to avoid it by all means. We’d like a “guaranteed bet” and stay within “our safe zone”. In business, you don’t eliminate risks; you learn to minimize them.

The advantage of starting an VitaMist business is that there is a small risk to get started. With as little as $50, it is possible to get you going, marketing products that you consume already. The amount of financial commitment is insignificant compared to that of traditional business.

  1. A Huge Demand for High Quality Products: There are a myriad of network marketing companies that promote very good products. If I were considering a company to get involved with, I would always ask myself:

“Would I still consume this product/service if there was no opportunity to market it?”

“Do these products bring any benefits to a consumer besides the opportunity to make money?”

“Would I bring “value” to my customers if they consume these products?”

Every business needs repeat customers. Distributors only get paid when they have consumers for their products and when these customers continue that consumption, then that creates the money flow.

  1. Residual Income: I am sure that you pay your gas, your electricity, and your phone bill every single month. These are the types of services that, for the most part, provide an ongoing stream of residual income for these companies.

The greatest advantage of a VitaMist business is that it gives you an opportunity to enjoy residual income just like those companies do.

When the initial effort of getting a new customer is completed, you can enjoy the residual part of that business relationship.

We are so used to trading our time for wages that we often don’t see the potential residual income of a VitaMist business Program. By direct selling your products, you can also claim your share of the residual income pie.

  1. The income potential: There is no cap on how much money you can generate. In my corporate jobs, my big limitation was that, regardless how hard I worked for these companies, my income was tied to a “market standard” for someone with my skills.

In a VitaMist business, that’s not the case. It is up to you to decide how much you want to earn. The VitaMist program doesn’t hold you back in the same way the corporate environment does.

As long as you have the skillset of a trained VitaMist Rep., you make whatever income based on your stamina, dedication, and your willingness to help others.

The skillset is key. Once you trained have yourself to become a marketer, you can market anything you choose and generate that income you seek.

  1. No Employees to Hire: By far, this is a clear advantage over traditional businesses. The VitaMist program is a business of people independently working together.

Without any employees, it’s possible to build a business right from home. This industry gives you that added benefit, to be in business without employees concerns, by having a network of independent business owners working together towards a common goal.

  1. No Inventory: Traditionally, network marketing companies would have distributors stock up on inventory. This concept alone has given the industry a bad rap for years. VitaMist has done away with this.

However, modern companies do capitalize on the technology and tools we have in place. We have:

  • Internet Telephony
  • Drop Shipping Ability
  • Consumer Leads
  • Conference Lines
  • Web Conference
  • High Speed Internet Access

Not having to inventory products will make your business more agile to any market condition.

  1. Low Operating Costs: VitaMist’s marketing model makes it possible to run a business at low costs compared to other business models.

This is where your upline’s support comes in. A good upline mentor should allow you to piggyback on his expertise, on his knowledge, on his leads, and help you generate the funds to pay off your initial investment and get in profit early in the life of your business.

  1. Leverage: Your VitaMist business is a:
  • People business
  • Business of appointments
  • Business of helping consumers find what they have the need for
  • Business of helping others create businesses.

You reap the rewards by leveraging the efforts of those you help. This develops a collective mindset that promotes “win-win” relationships.

  1. Portability: With the advent of technology, we can do today what distributors 15 years ago could not do, which is to make our business portable.

We now have a phone technology that allows you to take your telephone and move it anywhere you like transparently to your customers.

As long as you have access to the Internet via DSL or Cable, you can take your computer, your phone, and continue doing business while you are on the road, on vacation, or visiting relatives whether that be in another city or another country!

  1. Attainable Freedom: Imagine having a productive business in VitaMist providing you with a lifestyle that only the rich and famous enjoy. When all the pieces are in place, the life of a marketer can be very fulfilling indeed.

That’s the dream every new distributor chases, and it is only attainable when there is a clear understanding of how to get there and when your marketing skills are sharp.

It is not just the money, but the fulfillment of a lifestyle that makes a VitaMist business the best business!

To begin with, look for our Comprehensive Supplement Primer later this month. Those of you who attended last summer’s Homecoming will be familiar with the Vitamin Primer that was given out. It outlined each essential vitamin, what it does, how much you need and how to get it. Now that document has been expanded into a short book that includes essential minerals, amino acids, and other vital supplements. On January 15th, we will be releasing this guide as a free eBook for everyone to download and learn from!

In the coming months, VitaMist’s online resources will be expanding to include health tips, business tips, beginner’s fitness tips, advanced fitness tips, healthy recipes, articles on how to organize your life (both at home and online), and even articles on how to have a healthy social life! If that doesn’t cover all of your New Year’s resolutions, you can email Ask Spray with your own suggestions. We’d be happy to hear from you!

When 2017 arrives, don’t you want a list of brand new resolutions? Or better yet, wouldn’t you love to not have a list at all? Stay tuned to throughout the year. We’ll help get you there!

Happy New Year, everybody, and have a great spray day year.
